All the finalists are being communicated to present their business plan during the Bio-Accelerate session (Feb 11 from 11.30 AM to 1.30 PM) of Bio India Bangalore 2014. The Panel of jury will select the three winners. The winners will be awarded during the Award function.
Finalists are expected make a presentation for 15 minutes (strictly) that includes Q&A.
Proposals in the form of concept notes are invited from Start-ups (up to five years from the date of Registration), Individuals, Students and Researchers/Scientists who wish to showcase their Innovations/Ideas in Bangalore INDIA BIO 2014.
The concept notes should not exceed 2 printed pages (A 4, Times New Roman, 11 Point Font with single line spacing) and should fall within broad areas of Life Sciences- Healthcare (Bio-Pharma & Medical Devices/Diagnostics), Agriculture, Food/Nutrition, Environmental Biotechnology and Industrial Biotechnology. The concept note should include Technology/idea description, Technology Readiness Level and resources needed to take it to Commercialization, Novelty, Competitors, Unique Value Proposition, Social Impact, Team and Profitability. In addition any other relevant information may be provided as long as it fits within the page limit. After initial screening, the selected Innovators will be invited to present the Business Plan to the Panel of eminent Jury members during the event.
Winners will be awarded attractive cash prizes (Rs 2.0 -5.0 Lakhs) with a concession in rentals, if they chose to Incubate at the up-coming Bangalore Helix Bio-Incubator and certificate of recognition from Government of Karnataka. Proposals may be sent to the undersigned through emails on or before February 5, 2014.
